People are always going to buy things.

Here are our recommendations for the BEST companies and products in different categories.

These score 8/10 to 10/10 for environment and ethical.

Note: We are not sponsored by any companies, but we have tried and tested these products ourselves unless otherwise mentioned.

Net Zero Co. offers a variety of cooking/storage, cleaning, laundry, bathroom, self-care and other excellent eco-friendly, minimal waste and often plastic-free products.

We've tried (and recommend): produce bags, reusable paper towels, exfoliating mitt, dishcloths, deodorant, eco duster

*We recommend not buying any products made with wool due to serious animal cruelty concerns that are present with any commercial wool production

Stasher creates awesome, sturdy silicone bags to replace single-use food storage bags of all sizes. We purchased Stasher bags six years ago and all of them are still working perfectly. We've prevented hundreds and hundreds of plastic bags from going into a landfill by switching to these.

We've tried (and recommend): snack & sandwich Stasher bags (but any size is great)

If You Care (Household/Cooking)

If You Care is a wonderful company that makes unbleached and recycled products. Some of their offerings include unbleached parchment paper, unbleached coffee filters, recycled aluminum foil, Fair Trade rubber gloves, reusable paper towels, recycled trash bags and more.

We've tried (and recommend): rubber gloves & unbleached parchment paper - but we'd recommend any product from this company.. they truly care!

They used to be available at Costco. After trying them, we can't go back to any other fabric sheets!
