Youth Program
You're Never Too Young to Make a Difference
The JLF Youth Program is designed to give youth the opportunity to get involved in volunteering, to learn, raise money for a good cause, and to become more connected with nature.

Through camps, educational workshops, fundraisers and more, kids get to create fun, unforgettable memories while helping to make the world a better place.
Story of the Youth Program
Scout, our founder, wanted to make a difference from a young age. When she wanted to get involved with charity at age 11, she was told she was too young to do anything other than donate. Although it was sad at the time, Scout knew she had to find a way to get involved and get other kids involved.

By the time Scout turned 13, she was able to volunteer with a charity where she helped get kids involved in organizing fundraisers and educational camps, as well as contributing ideas and feedback to the charity. Kids as young as 5 took part in these events.

At JLF, we want to expand youth events to include more educational activities and hands-on initiatives beyond fundraising, such as educational workshops and creating pollinator gardens.
Our plans for 2025 include
-
Large bake sale fundraisers with
educational component
Learning about the environment and raising money for protection of nature
-
Creating a pollinator garden
-
Camps with an educational component
Learning about how to help the environment through reading and discussion
