Oh She Glows is a blog and series of cookbooks inclusive of vegan, gluten-free, oil-free and nut-free diets. She includes recipes inspired from Africa, Asia, Europe, North America and more. The directors own three of her cookbooks and we've been making her recipes for years! Some of our favourites include African Peanut Stew, Chia Parfaits and Chana Masala!

Vegan Richa offers lovely, authentic Indian recipes on her blog and in her cookbook. We first tried the dal fry recipe. She has so many options, including creative ones we haven't heard of elsewhere. There's also a great variety of other Asian, European, African and North American recipes!

Live Eat Learn is a wonderful vegetarian website that allows you to sort recipes by many different categories, including vegan, gluten-free, high-protein, etc. You can also sort by cuisine or ingredient! A super-well designed resource with delicious recipes. Check out the founder's cookbook Eat! as well :)

Double Chocolate Healthier Cookies (DF)

We love these date-sweetened cookies! We replaced the flour with oat flour and you can replace the egg with a flax egg to make it fully vegan. They taste great and have a cool secret ingredient. They are a staple!

Apple Cinnamon Muffins (DF)

We love these muffins! We used dates instead of sugar and added walnuts. You can replace eggs with flax eggs to be vegan, but otherwise this recipe is dairy free and gluten free!

Vegetarian Sandwich Options

While some of these sandwiches use cheese or eggs, eating vegetarian is better for the planet than eating meat. These options are diverse and yummy for both kids and adults! We love nut butter and banana sandwiches :)

A great resource to find more vegan, vegetarian, refined sugar-free, egg-free, dairy-free, gluten-free recipes is Pinterest. We've found so many good recipes there, including vegan soups, stirfry, pastas, tacos, salads, chili, breakfast meals, curries, smoothies, baked goods and more.
